Terms and Conditions

Terms for using SpeakToScore

Effective date: April 7, 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of SpeakToScore, an AI-powered English speaking and communication practice platform operated by Lear Labs Private Limited. By creating an account, logging in, purchasing a plan, or otherwise using SpeakToScore, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. About SpeakToScore

SpeakToScore is a software platform designed to help users improve English speaking, communication confidence, fluency, and self-expression through AI-powered speaking practice, simulated scenarios, exam-style practice, and personalized feedback.

SpeakToScore is a learning and skill development tool only. It is not an official testing authority, does not issue certified scores, and does not guarantee admissions, employment, visa, interview, or academic outcomes.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when registering for an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account.

If you use SpeakToScore on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms and Conditions.

3. Educational and Skill Development Use

SpeakToScore is intended for educational practice and communication skill development. Any scores, analytics, predictions, or AI-generated observations are informational only and should not be treated as official, guaranteed, or final.

Neutral exam-style practice may be included as part of the learning experience, but the service is not positioned or intended as a cheating tool, score manipulation tool, or substitute for independent study or formal instruction.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not:

  • use the platform for unlawful, deceptive, harmful, or abusive purposes;
  • attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, copy, resell, or disrupt the service;
  • upload content that infringes rights or violates applicable laws;
  • share or misuse account access in a way that circumvents plan rules or limits;
  • use the platform to misrepresent your identity or language ability to third parties;
  • interfere with the experience, security, or access of other users.

5. User Content

You remain responsible for the content you submit, including recordings, transcripts, speaking responses, prompts, messages, and any other materials you upload or generate through the service.

You grant SpeakToScore the rights reasonably necessary to host, process, store, analyze, display, and use your content to operate the service, generate feedback, personalize your experience, support your account, maintain report history, detect misuse, and improve the product.

6. Subscription Terms and Billing

SpeakToScore may offer one-time purchases, recurring subscriptions, limited-use plans, and promotional offers. The applicable price, billing cycle, usage limit, renewal terms, and access duration are shown at checkout.

If you purchase a subscription, it may renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the next renewal date. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize recurring charges consistent with the plan you selected.

Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically create a refund for the current billing cycle unless stated in our Refund Policy or required by law.

7. Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, refunds are not guaranteed outside the refund window stated in that policy.

8. No Guarantee of Results

We do not guarantee any specific score improvement, fluency outcome, academic result, admissions result, employment result, or other personal outcome from using SpeakToScore.

AI outputs may contain inaccuracies, incomplete observations, or subjective judgments. You are responsible for how you interpret and use those outputs.

9. Intellectual Property

SpeakToScore and all related software, designs, branding, text, prompts, scoring systems, workflows, and other platform content are owned by or licensed to Lear Labs Private Limited and protected by intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to use the service for your personal or internal educational use, subject to these Terms and Conditions.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to SpeakToScore if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms and Conditions, engaged in fraud or abuse, failed to pay applicable fees, or created risk for the platform, our business, or other users.

You may stop using the service at any time. Certain provisions of these Terms and Conditions will survive termination where reasonably necessary.

11. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-available access. Features may change, be updated, or be removed over time for legal, technical, operational, or commercial reasons.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpeakToScore is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lear Labs Private Limited and its affiliates, directors, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, profits, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of SpeakToScore.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the effective date and publish the revised version on this page. Your continued use of SpeakToScore after updated terms become effective means you accept them.
